Session Description

Through this interactive presentation, participants will collaboratively explore leadership in our modern corporate climate. As organizations grow increasingly flat, demands for talented employees rise, and organizational information is shared ever more fluidly, the formal authority that comes with a title seems less powerful. Partnerships and collaboration are more and more common, and leadership has become about growing with others toward a common goal. In today’s world, winning teams win through cooperation and shared effort, but how do their leaders inspire the troops? How do these leaders grow through the organization and up into the C-suite as they share power and collaborate with those around them? And, how do teams continually work together so as to win time and again?

Learning Objectives

  • Create a working definition for leadership in today’s business climate.
  • Discuss leadership in context, and how great leaders influence others to achieve.
  • Examine how leaders can collaborate with others while pursuing and accomplishing personal goals.
  • Identify strategies that effectively motivate your team.
  • Explore case studies that exemplify team success and cultures of excellence.
