On Monday December 4th the Emerging Professionals Committee of the Capital Chapter of PCMA participated in an industry panel at Prince George’s Community College.
Participating in this panel were EPC’s own Ann Garvey CMP, with Visit Norfolk, Beverly Johnson CMP, with American Chemical Society, Chris Whiting with Flame and Cones, Sybil Davis with the Philadelphia CVB and Christi Rich of Christi Rich.
Students and faculty enjoyed a great evening of discussion and networking with the panelist. The event was well attended and received by all. We look forward to visiting PGCC again soon.
Here is feed back from Adjunct Professor Rachel Chadderdon.”THANK YOU so much for sharing your time, knowledge and experience last night. It was the best attended and most engaged group of students I’ve seen in years!
We really appreciate each of you sharing your passion for this industry, as it reinforces what they hear from us in class. Your experience and tenure in your fields set a fantastic example of what is possible with focus and determination! Together we can help them to be more and do more in order to stand out amongst their peers. Which in turn helps us identify the best talent!”
